Wow!! :-)

I just had the most wonderful day!! One of those "it's almost SPRING!" kind of days! My "Honey" had business in Little Rock today, so he left around 8am. My day was GLORIOUS!! I played ball with my dog (her absolutely most FAVORITE activity!) for an hour or so after "Honey" left this morning. Then we hooked up the waterhose & did her next most favorite thing...filled her "kiddie pool". She LOVES water out of the hose & goes bonkers! After that, I put her on the chain (only 'cuz she likes to EAT my chickens, if I don't!!) and went to turn the chickens out for the day. The chickens were ecstatic! Normally, they only get 3-4 hrs. to roam free, while the dog is chained up. Today, they were turned out at 11am & didn't go back to the coop until after 4pm! After turning the chickens out, I put out some mineral/salt lick blocks for the horses. I love those horses!! They are so affectionate!! I love it when they follow me. Too cool!! One in particular, (Honey's grandson's horse, "GeeWhiz") is too precious!! She is such a sweetheart!! She loves attention & loves to be scratched. It was nearly 70 degrees today!! I think once Spring finally arrives, I want to give all the horses a good bath & a rub-down & get the tangles out of their manes & tails. I think they would LIKE that! I may not actually get all 8 horses bathed & groomed, but I would LIKE to! I LOVE SPRING & SUMMER!!!
It inspires me to want to do all sorts of things!! Heck, I actually tackled the sunroom today. Since I moved in here a little over a year ago, a LOT of boxed stuff got "parked" in the sunroom. It's not pretty to look at & it blocks the view of the pond. My efforts went a long way... It's not finished, but I made a LOT of progress in making it more presentable. Whew! I'm tired! Think I'll go to bed & read one of those Library books I brought home!!
