Pets & their IDIOT owners!

WHY do certain people even OWN a dog?? If you want an "early warning detection" device....buy some guinnea fowls!! Absolutely nothing gets past their attention & they sound the "alarm" rather loudly.
On my travels today, I passed two houses, each having a dog. Sad thing was....at both houses, these dogs were chained up on what looked like towing-strength chains. They were chained in proximity to their dog houses, which were located at places in their respective yards that were mostly swamp. These poor dogs looked extremely depressed (as much as a dog can) Neither of them showed any sort of enthusiasm.
WHY HAVE A DOG IF YOU'RE GONNA MAKE IT LIVE OUT IT'S ENTIRE LIFE ON THE END OF A SIX FOOT CHAIN???? Talk about "animal cruelty"! Then I saw a third dog. He was somewhat better off. HE wasn't chained. No...instead, he was confined in a chainlink enclosure about the size of a prison cell! No grass. No room to run & play. No way to get off the cold wet ground. What a great life, huh?? Sad, too, that no one seems to ever be there to play with them. Only time they get any attention is when someone comes out to throw some food in their bowls & top off their dirty water. Makes me very, very sad.
IF YOU CAN'T GIVE AN ANIMAL A GOOD HOME...DON'T HAVE AN ANIMAL!!
